There will be changes in public transport and parking-lot services on Christmas and New Year holidays
On December 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and January 1 Riga public transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams) will run according to holiday schedules. Those passengers having bought one-month tickets for working days should take into account that these tickets will not be valid on December 23, 24, 25, 26 and 30.
On December 31 and January 1 passengers will use public transport, except night transport routes and minibuses.
The night transport will run in the nights of December 22/23, December 23/24, December 24/25, December 25/26, December 28/29, December 29/30 and December 30/31.
On December 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31 and January 1 minibuses will run according to holiday schedules. We also remind that on December 31 and January 1 minibus services will be for pay, as usually.
For passengers to go comfortably to and from places where festive events will be organised, there will be additional public transport in the night of December 31/January 1, which will run until approximately 04:00 (on some routes until 5:00). There will be extra runs on tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11, on bus routes No. 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53, and on trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27.
On December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 the services of municipal paid parking-lots, managed by "Rīgas satiksme", will be free of charge, except for the underground parking-lot near the House of Congresses.
